Valderrama Golf

Venue of the Ryder-Cup in 1997. Venue of the final, mostly decisive, tournament on the European PGA Tour throughout the nineties and the World Stroke Play Championships 1999 (won by Tiger Woods), 2000 and 2002.
Valderrama is owned by Jaime Ortiz Patiño and was designed by Robert Trent Jones and Seve Ballesteros who redesigned the controversial par five 17th, has provided the world of golf with numerous dramatic moments of golf history over the past ten years.
Valderrama is regarded as one of Europe's finest golf courses and among the best in the world. Described as being thrilling and breathtaking by world's top players, this course is extremely difficult. Strategic play is required for each single shot in order not find yourself out of position in one of the water hazards or behind one of the numerous cork-oaks.
The 9-hole par 3 course is one of the most exciting and spectacular short courses in the world. Valderrama is a private golf course although visitors are usually welcomed if they book in advance.
